The course on Tuesday mornings is called French from Scratch. The new group for those who always wished they could speak a bit of French when on holiday, for those who missed out on learning it at school or who like the challenge of learning a new language. It will be a small group and we shall learn through role play,
pair work, and easy grammar in a fun and non-threatening way. You will be encouraged to get a sense of achievement by easy build-up
The leader of the Thursday group writes:
Un groupe vif, qui discute des thèmes divers, lit des textes, écoute des CDs, compose la poesie, etc.
Surtout on s’amuse! For further details please see the Annual Bulletin or write to groups@bristolu3a,org uk
The Friday group at Westbury Fields leader writes:
Everyone has an input to our group conversations. Introductions lead to questions and create conversations. The French spoken is not perfect but communication is good.
This year we welcome a new leader. This group is now called French Conversation with Gallery and it has its own page, please go to that page under Groups and Activities for more detail.
The Friday group at Henleaze is called French Conversation
The leader writes:
Members of this group are not perfect in French but we converse easily at an advanced level in a relaxed
atmosphere. This group would welcome more members who enjoy using French to discuss topics of interest..
